Simply provide a detailed prompt (e.g., "Create a vendor NDA for data services") and the AI will create a draft aligned to your selected perspective. You can also upload PDF documents as references to help guide the document creation process.
The generated content may require review and editing to meet your specific requirements. Using reference PDFs can help improve the relevance and accuracy of the generated document.
5. Troubleshooting & Tips
The Erayaha.AI sidebar doesn’t open in Google Docs
Solution: Make sure the extension is installed. Then go to:Extensions → Erayaha.AI - Smarter Document Reviews & Insights → Optimize your document now
Tip: Refresh the page or try in incognito mode if multiple Google accounts are logged in.
“Authorization required” error message
Cause: This often occurs when Google defaults to a different account during installation or when trying to access the extension.
Solution: Sign out of other Google accounts or use incognito mode to ensure proper authentication.
Nothing happens after selecting “Optimize your document now”
Solution: Ensure your document has some content. For empty documents, the assistant cannot proceed with analysis. In Word, you can optionally use the document generation feature.
Roles don’t appear after clicking “Optimize your document now”
Solution: Wait a few seconds. The roles appear only after the document has been successfully analyzed. If it's taking too long, refresh the page and try again.
Extension is slow or not responsive
Solution: Check your internet connection, close other heavy browser tabs, and clear browser cache if necessary. For Word, restart the app.
Word add-in doesn’t show up after installation
Solution: Go to the Insert → My Add-ins menu and ensure that Erayaha.AI is enabled. Then pin it to your ribbon for quicker access.
Word extension says “document is empty” even after adding content
Solution: Save the document, close and reopen it. Some Word APIs need a refresh to detect content changes.
Chat tab doesn’t respond or gives generic outputs
Solution: Be sure to provide a clear prompt. For example, instead of “Summarize,” try “Summarize this document from a finance team’s point of view.”
Erayaha shows outdated content
Solution: Save the document and reload the extension. In Docs, re-click “Optimize your document now.” In Word, close and reopen the sidebar.
6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is Erayaha.AI?
- Erayaha.AI is a document intelligence tool that helps you analyze, summarize, and refine business documents like contracts, RFPs, PRDs, and financial agreements directly within Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
Is Erayaha.AI free to use?
- Yes, there is a free tier available with limited usage. Paid plans provide higher usage quotas and access to advanced features and analysis depth.
I installed the add-on, but nothing appears in the sidebar. What should I do?
- Make sure your document has at least some content. Also confirm you're using the correct Google or Microsoft account that installed the add-on.
Why am I being asked to "choose a perspective"?
- Perspectives like Client, Vendor, Legal, Finance, or Product allow the assistant to analyze the document from that specific viewpoint. Once selected, the tool tailors all insights and suggestions accordingly.
What kind of prompts should I use?
- Use prompts that specify what you want and the role you’re interested in. Examples:
- What risks are there for the client?
- Summarize this from a legal point of view.
- Check if this document has unrealistic delivery expectations.
Is my document data safe?
- Yes. Your documents are not stored or used for training AI unless you explicitly opt in.
Can I use both Google Docs and Word versions with the same account?
- Yes, if you're signed in with the same Google or Microsoft account (based on the extension used), you can access Erayaha.AI features across platforms.
What document types work best with Erayaha?
- Erayaha.AI is built for business documents — contracts, tenders, RFPs, PRDs, compliance reports, and similar materials. Informal or creative documents may produce less targeted insights.
What should I do if I see the “Authorization required” error?
- Sign out of other Google accounts or try accessing Erayaha.AI in an incognito window. This error usually happens due to conflicting sessions.
Why is Erayaha asking me to “optimize” the document?
- This step initiates the AI analysis. Until it runs, features like role selection, overview, details, and revisions won’t be available. It ensures the assistant works with the latest document content.
Can Erayaha work on a document with only an image or blank content?
- No. The assistant needs textual content to analyze. If the document is blank, it may prompt you to create a new one (especially in Word). If it contains only images, no meaningful analysis can be performed.
What happens if I don't select a perspective?
- Without a perspective selected, Erayaha can't contextualize the document. Perspective selection is critical to unlocking insights that are tailored to your needs — whether you're a lawyer, vendor, or product lead.
Do I have to type full prompts every time in the Chat tab?
- Yes, currently you must provide a clear prompt. You can reuse or slightly adjust previous prompts. In the future, prompt templates or autocomplete may be supported.
How is the Word Add-in different from the Google Docs extension?
- Feature-wise, both are nearly identical. However, Word offers an extra feature: “Create Document” when the doc is empty, allowing you to generate new drafts via prompt.
Why do suggestions change every time I click “Optimize”?
- Suggestions may evolve as the document content changes or as the AI reanalyzes the tone, structure, or potential risk. Minor rewrites or deletions can trigger new interpretations.
Can Erayaha be used for academic papers or resumes?
- While not the core focus, Erayaha can provide feedback on clarity and structure. However, its insights are optimized for business/legal/technical writing, not creative or academic use.
Does Erayaha support real-time collaboration?
- Yes. In Google Docs, others can see the same sidebar and results if they’ve also installed the extension. In Word, this depends on whether all collaborators have the add-in installed.
How often is the assistant updated?
- Erayaha.AI is regularly updated to improve its capabilities, risk detection, and prompt comprehension. You don’t need to reinstall anything — updates apply automatically to the extension.
Does Erayaha support multiple languages?
- Currently, English is fully supported. Support for other languages is in progress.
What if I accidentally deny permissions during install?
- Remove the add-on from Docs or Word, reinstall it, and be sure to grant all required permissions when prompted.
Are the insights legally binding?
- No. While Erayaha provides intelligent analysis, its suggestions are not a substitute for human legal review. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on AI-generated recommendations.
